Information we handle

• Account information: email address, account name, and authentication identifiers when a parent creates an account or signs in with email, Apple, or Google.
• Plan information: a child's nickname, age range, the family's word for the pacifier, pacifier-use patterns, parent-selected motivations and readiness, recommended approach, mission status, and logged progress events.
• Purchase information: product, entitlement, transaction, and store-account information needed to complete or restore an in-app purchase. Bairat Labs does not receive full payment card details.
• Technical information: service providers may process device, app, network, request, and diagnostic information needed to secure and operate authentication, cloud sync, and purchases.
• Support information: information a parent chooses to include in a support request.

When information leaves the device

The assessment starts locally on the device. After account creation, the parent can save the plan to an owner-protected cloud account so it can be recovered across supported devices. Authentication credentials and tokens are handled through Amazon Cognito and protected device storage.

How we use information

• personalize the pacifier goodbye plan and daily guidance;
• create, authenticate, secure, and support a parent account;
• save and synchronize the plan at the parent's request;
• complete, restore, and verify purchases;
• respond to support, safety, and account requests;
• prevent abuse and maintain the reliability and security of the service; and
• meet legal obligations.

Service providers

We use service providers only to operate the app. These include Amazon Web Services and AWS Amplify for authentication and owner-protected cloud storage, Apple and Google for platform sign-in and store purchases, RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management, and Expo for build, delivery, and hosting infrastructure. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Children

The app is a parenting tool intended for use by an adult parent or guardian. Children should not create accounts or submit information directly. A parent may enter a nickname and routine information about a child to personalize the plan. We do not request a child's full legal name, contact details, precise location, photo, audio, or advertising identifier.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored plan data remains on the device until the parent starts over, signs out, deletes the account, clears the app's data, or removes the app. Operating-system backups may retain local app data according to the device owner's backup settings. On iOS, protected authentication items may persist in Keychain after uninstall, as designed by Apple, and are removed when the parent signs out or deletes the account through the app. Cloud plan data remains while the account is active. The in-app Delete account and cloud plan action deletes the owner-protected cloud plan and Cognito account. Store purchase records remain with Apple or Google as required for transaction history and purchase restoration. Limited security logs and backups may remain for the periods used by our service providers or required by law.

Your choices and rights

Parents can review plan information in the app, start a new local assessment, sign out, restore purchases, and delete the account and cloud plan from the Parent screen. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including protected device storage for authentication tokens and owner-based authorization for cloud plans. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than the parent's country, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
